Dede Ayew sets record as Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer At AFCON

Captain for the Black Stars of Ghana, Andre Dede Ayew is now Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after scoring against the Squirrels of Benin on Tuesday evening.

The former u-20 world cup winner after scoring for the Black Stars at the 2019 AFCON has surpassed the likes of Asamoah Gyan (8 goals), Osei Kofi (7), and Abedi Pele (6) to become the country’s top scorer at the continental showdown.

His equalizer to pull parity for his side has taken his tally to a total of 9 goals ahead of any other player that has scored for the Black Stars at the big stage.

His new record has moved him up to 13th all-time on the Africa Cup of Nations goal scorers chat.

Andre Dede Ayew who has established himself as a big stage player now has a total of 15 international goals for the West African Country.
