Dreams FC coach Karim Zito has issued a firm statement ahead of their highly anticipated CAF Confederation Cup match against Egyptian giants Zamalek.

He declared that his team would not disgrace themselves in their crucial encounter against the Egyptian giants.

Zito, acknowledging the daunting challenge ahead, urged his fellow Ghanaians to pray for the team as they gear up for the two-legged tie. The first leg is set to take place in Cairo, with the return leg scheduled in Ghana.

Dreams FC, the reigning FA Cup champions, secured their spot in the semifinals by overcoming Malian side Stade Malien. Despite the formidable task that lies ahead, Zito remains optimistic. Zito also called on the support of Ghanaians.

"We will not disgrace ourselves though as I said it is a match that is frightening but it is not impossible so we will not disgrace ourselves we are going. They (Ghanaians) should pray for us," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

Dreams FC will travel to Cairo on Thursday 18th April.
