Dreams FC’s Ibrahim Dossey Adam handed 5 years ban from football

The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association has handed Dreams FC official Ibrahim Dossey Adam a five year ban from football related activities.

Ibrahim Dossey was sanctioned by the Appeals Committee for signing the release letter of Cudjoe Mensah on behalf of Dreams FC.

The committee’s ruling read as follow;

“IBRAHIM DOSSEY ADAM of DREAMS FC who signed the release letter of CUDJOE MENSAH on behalf of DREAMS FC is hereby banned from holding any office in the GFA or in any club affiliated to the GFA for a period of five (5) years with effect from the date of this decision.”

The Appeals Committee also banned Mumltni Malik of Botwe Youth FC a five year ban from football for similar offence.

 

“That MUMLTNI MALIK of BOTWEY YOUTH FC who signed the release lener of CUDJOE MENSAH to DREAMS FC is hereby banned from holding any office in the GFA or in any club affiliated to the GFA for a period of five (5) years with effect from the date of this decision.”

The Appeals Committee after a sitting on Wednesday also ruled that Dreams FC be demoted to the second-tier League for the use of an unqualified player (Cudjoe Mensah) in a Division one League game against Tema Youth.
