The EFL Cup semi-finals will see Southampton pitted against Liverpool while Manchester Unitedwill face Hull City.
The Reds, who have been in fine form this season, got past Leeds United with a 2-0 win on Tuesday nightto set themselves up for the next round, having beaten Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the previous tie.
Hull haven't been doing well at all in the League, but have made it to this stage anyhow, beating the recently relegated Newcastle on penalties on Tuesday.
Southampton defeated Arsenal 2-0 on Wednesday, with Arsene Wenger naming a side filled with changes. The Frenchman is known for fielding younger players in cup competitions, so this loss comes as no greatsurprise.
United beat West Ham 4-1, having drawn 1-1 against the London side in a Premier League encounteron the weekend. Anthony Martial bagged a brace in this one, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic got on the score-sheet twice as well.
