Egypt's Aswan FC sack former Ghana Premier League goal-king Kofi Owusu

Egyptian side Aswan FC have sacked Ghanaian striker Kofi Owusu for poor performances.

Owusu was sent packing by the Aswan management two years after he joined from Berekum Chelsea.

Owusu left Ghana after he won the Ghana Premier League topscorer award but was unable to find his scoring boots in Egypt.

He has currently began a search for a new club after touching down in Accra.

He is hopeful that a top club will take a chance on him on account of his past feats in the Ghana Premier League.
