Administrative Manager of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Ali Mohammed says his outfit is eyeing a strong comeback next season after the cancellation of the 2019/20 football season.

The Executive Council of the Ghana FA confirmed the annulment of the season due to coronavirus.

But according to him,  it was not the fault of the GFA to cancel the season, especially where the deadly virus made it difficult to continue with the league.

He added that Wonders were happy with their performance and that their new signings could have helped them to achieve their target.

“Our aim was shut down, and we could have realised our dream for the year had it not been for the cancellation of the league," he told Graphic Sports.

Mohammed disclosed that the club would prepare adequately for the new season and come back better for the ultimate in the Ghana Premier League as the club looks forward to abide by the decision of the GFA.

He noted that the club enjoyed a lot of support from their fans as the only club from the Bono East Region in the elite competition.

“We are still putting up the structures as a Board of Directors would be announced in the coming month to help the club grow stronger to win the league next season,” he revealed further.

The club was 12th on the league table with 19 points before the annulment of the season.
