Emmanuel Gyamfi refuses to close door on possible Asante Kotoko return

Aduana FC winger, Emmanuel Gyamfi has refused to rule out a possible return to his former club Asante Kotoko.

The now former Porcupine Warriors captain played for current coach Prosper Ogum in the 2021/22 season where they won the Ghana Premier League title and had played there from 2016 before leaving to join the Fire boys three seasons ago.

The 29-year-old spoke to Ghana Sports Page on the current struggles of the club and said he wished things are going well for the club.

Asked whether he would be interested in a possible return to the Baba Yara Stadium, the Aduana forward refused to be drawn into any discussion about his future.

"I can’t expose my contract with Aduana on air but to tell everyone that I am a footballer and whoever comes for me with a good offer and terms, likely, I will join the team.”

Kotoko have won just one game in the whole of 2024 and are 11th on the Ghana Premier League table.

The Porcupine Warriors have suffered six defeats in their last seven league matches, resulting in strained relations between management and the fans.
