Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi has opened up on Spezia Calcio pre-season training ahead of the new season.

The 26-year-old cut short his vacation in Ghana to start pre-season with Italian serie A side Spezia.

Gyasi was in Ghana for the friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast last month before leaving for Italy.

The winger was a mainstay in Spezia first season in the Serie A helping the side to escape relegation.

Gyasi will work with former Inter Milan and Paris Saint Germain midfielder Thiago Motta as the club's new manager following the exit of Vincenzo Italiano to Fiorentina.

Speaking on La Spezia podcast, Gyasi indicated he is getting along with his teammates and is hoping the fans rejoice in the 2021/22 season.

"We feel very good, we are doing a good job training well. I'm getting along well with the guys. We have to struggle but it's normal”

“I tell the fans that last year they suffered a lot, and I hope they can come to the stadium to rejoice. with us this season ".he said.
