Enock Agyei was linked to a transfer to Standard Liege a few days ago as reported by Footballghana.com. The 18-year-old striker's contract expires in June.
According to Bruzz's podcast Radio Radzinski, Agyei approached Anderlecht for a salary of €500,000 per year.
"I have been told that he is asking 500,000 euros a year," one of the journalists on the podcast explained.
"That's as much as some carrying players,"
"Enock shows his talent, but he is not a contributing player at the Futures. He is no Stassin or Leoni. He didn't show he is ready yet. If you ask for a salary of 500,000 euros, it is not to sit on the bench. Then you have to be a player who plays and carries the team,"
Enock might join Vincent Kompany's Burnley in the summer, and there is already a lot of interest.
Two Belgian clubs, as well as clubs from England, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, and France, have expressed interest in the youngster.
