Donkor in a recent interview with Kumasi based radio station Otec FM noted that he wants to stay on at the club following a successful 2016/17 domestic season.

Kotoko are preparing for Africa and next season's league and the Dr Kwame Kyei led administration must beef up the team and settle all contractual issues with key players in the team.

“I am among the ten players whose contracts have expired in the team, and I don’t know the plans of the coach for now. If he needs in the team, why not I will stay,” said Eric Donkor
