Everton striker Wayne Rooney's community service order has hit turbulence.
Rooney, who turns 32 tomorrow, was banned from the roads for two years last month after he admitted to a drink-drive charge in which he was three times over the legal limit.
He was ordered to serve 100 hours of paid work as part of a 12-month community order, says the Mirror.
Rooney had wanted to teach children football - like did Eric Cantona when he was given 120 hours of community service for karate kicking a fan.
However it takes 28 days for necessary checks to confirm his suitability to work with children - and community service starts a week after sentencing.
