Ex-Ghana Coach Goran Stevanovic and 8 others jostle for Nigeria coaching job

Former Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic and eight other coaches are hoping to get the Nigeria national team coaching job as the earch for a permanent coach for the Super Eagles hits its climax.

Reports in Nigeria indicate that, the Nigerian Federation have pruned down the numerous applications received to 10, which Stevanovic who was popularly known as Plavi is part.

It was gathered that former Cameroonian coach, Paul Le Guen, caretaker coach, Salisu Yusuf and the Serbian duo of

Goran Stevanovic and Ivo Sajh are among those still in the hot race for the plum post.

Nigeria has been drawn into Group B in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The other countries in the group are Algeria, Cameroun and Zambia.
