Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach, Karim Zito has taken aim at the club's coach Zdravko Lugarusic, suggesting the coach's complaints about his side's lack of quality players indicate his tactics is failing him.

The Croatian coach has been recently criticized by the club's teeming fans for his team's failure to 'handsomely' win matches.

But when the coach returned from his native country, Croatia on Monday, he disclosed that he went there to scout for quality players to beef up the squad in their league title ambitions.

”He should shut up and do his work with the materials at his disposal. He should rather change the system he is using and deploy maybe 4-4-2 formation, which could suit the boys,” Zito told Happy FM.

“If he heeds to this advise, the boys will come alive in games but It should not be the case that only a striker scores in matches. There are various tactics I believe will be flexible for the players.”

“Last season against New Edubiase, it was the goalkeeper who scored the first goal for us, does that also count on tactics. He should just keep mute and tweak with his rigid syatem and evething will into the right place.

The club will host Inter Allies in week 9 of the ongoing league on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
