Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player Sarfo Gyamfi feels the current players of the team do not meet the Kotoko standard. According him, the current crop of players does not deserve to play for the club.

Kotoko are winless in their last five Ghana Premier League games with their last game against New Edubiase ending in a draw.

Some fans have blamed interim coach Michael Osei for their current slump in performance but Sarfo Gyamfi disagrees.

"Majority of the current Asante Kotoko players don't deserve to wear the jersey's of our great club,” he spoke to Success FM in Goaso

"The management only registered free transferred players because they don't have money.

"Due to lack of funds, the current management failed to sign good players for the club. They only relied on second-hand player for the side which is not the best."
