Exclusive: English Championship clubs in race to sign Edwin Gyasi

Ghana winger, Edwin Gyasi is being chased by multiple English Championship clubs this summer, Footballghana.com can confirm.

Gyasi will terminate his contract with Samsunspor today as reported by Footballghana.com on Tuesday morning.

The 29-year-old joined the Turkish lower side as a free agent after parting ways with CSKA Sofia last summer.

Gyasi made an instant impact at the club but was forced to leave the club on loan.

He joined fellow TFF League 1 side, Boluspor. Gyasi played a vital role and helped the club from demotion.

However, multiple Championship clubs have joined the race to sign the pacy forward.

Meanwhile, Gyasi's former side, CSKA Sofia have also expressed interest in re-signing the forward.

He scored one goal at Samsunspor before leaving on loan. He was expected to join Besiktas before joining Samsunspor.

The FC Twente Enschede and AZ Alkmaar youth player managed only three appearances in the Bulgarian league last season.

Gyasi has also had stints with De Graafschap, Roda JC, Heracles Almelo, Aalesund and FC Dallas.
