Ghana U20 and FC Twente midfielder Yaw Yeboah has been invited into the senior national team the Black Stars by head coach Avram Grant as replacement for injured Jeffery Schlupp ahead of AFCON qualifier against Rwanda.

The 19 year old who joined Dutch Eredivise side FC Twente on loan from Manchester City until end of the season, is set to make his senior team debut after featuring for the Black Satellites at two different tournaments.

FC Twente star Yaw Yeboah has been given a late call up by head coach Grant to replace injured Leicester City winger Jeffrey Schlupp who has been ruled out of Ghana's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda on September 3.

Yeboah during his appearance for the Ghana U-20 team at the 2015 African U-20 Championship was awarded "most valuable player" after scoring 2 goals. He then played in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, making 4 appearances and scoring 2 goals, both from penalties.

Yeboah was also part of the Ghana squad that failed to qualify to the 2017 African Youth Championships in Zambia, after falling to Senegal.
