Beşiktaş will not trigger the extension for Kevin-Prince Boateng after his initial loan deal ends with the club, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The Ghanaian was in fine form for the Turkish club at the start of his spell but slowly tailed off as the season progressed. Due to this, the management have decided that they will send Boateng back to Fiorentina at the end of the season.
The former Barcelona player has a condition in his contract that will trigger an automatic extension if he manages at least 45 minutes in 10 games for Beşiktaş. He played five games that meet the requirements so far but the club will not allow him to fully match the condition.
Footballghana.com understands that the likes of Loris Karius, Abdoulay Diaby and Pedro Rebocho will also return to their mother clubs.
The 33 year old is currently self isolating with his family in Turkey due to the coronavirus outbreak and the indefinite suspension of the Super Lig.
