Exclusive: Selasi Adjei seeks greener pastures away from Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak striker Selasi Adjei is burnt on reviving his football Career with a move away from Accra Hearts of Oak. The hardworking attacker who featured in only one game for the Phobians this season will see his three year contract run-out in September. Adjei joined the former African Champions in 2013 from Amiduas Professionals after he shot to fame with his two goals in the 2012 MTN FA cup which condemned Kotoko to a 2-0 defeat and handed the Porcupines their biggest upset in the competition. The 23-year-old’s career has since been punctuated with recurrent injuries leaving him to compete for first team action with in-form striker Cosmos Dauda, experienced Samuel Yeboah and Musa Ibrahim. “I’m hoping to get an offer that is better than that from Hearts of Oak.” I still have a lot in me as a player and will fight for any club that will assure me of more playing time.” Selasi Adjei is among nine players whose contract will be reviewed in the coming days by the club for a possible extension.
