Sporting Lisbon's total investment in Black Stars attacker Fatawu Issahaku is 3.8 million euros footballghana.com can exclusively report.

Issahaku moved to the Portuguese club from Division One club Steadfast FC. He had a brief stint with Dreams FC in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

Fatawu Issahaku cost Sporting Lisbon, in March this year, a total of 1.3 million euros - 1.2 million for Steadfast FC, from Ghana, and another 100 thousand euros in commissions.

Sporting officially submitted these numbers to the CMVM for the third quarter of the 2021/2022 season.

According to reports in Portugal, the Leonine management secured a future investment in the player, as it had done, for example, with Manuel Ugarte earlier this year.

In other words, in addition to paying 1.2 million euros for 100 percent of Fatawu's rights, Sporting, according to the reports, assured Steadfast FC the option of acquiring the remaining 50 percent of a future capital gain for 2.5 million euros.

As a consequence, if the attacker, who is just 18 years old, validates his qualifications in Alvalade, Sporting's total investment will be 3.8 million euros.
