Ghanaian attacker Bernard Terkepetey will be named in Fortuna first 11 to play Hertha on Friday for the first time.
Dawid Kownacki's injury allows Tekpetey to start Friday against Hertha, an opportunity he never had with Schalker.
He could not understand why he was never in the starting lineup for Schalker 04.
Trainer Friedhelm Funkel said " it could well be that the time is right"
Tekpetey: "I am in good shape and I hope to prove myself against Hertha. We're going to Berlin to get points there. "
"If I get the chance to score, I will use them too."
The striker was loaned from Schalke 04 to Fortuna Düsseldorf in 2019.
