Head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has announced Asante Kotoko’s squad for the crucial round of 32 in the 2023/24 MTN FA Cup against Bibiani Gold Stars at Dun’s Park.
The match is set to take place on Sunday, January 7, with live coverage on StarTimes Adepa channel 247 at 3 p.m. The game will be held at Dun’s Park in Bibiani, and Asante Kotoko is keen on securing a win in the MTN FA Cup to potentially qualify for a CAF competition.
If they are unable to secure victory in the Ghana Premier League and participate in the CAF Champions League next season, this serves as an alternative route.
Asante Kotoko previously faced Bibiani Gold Stars at the same venue this season in the Ghana Premier League, suffering a 2-1 defeat.
Captain and goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad remain absent from the team, with Frederick Asare expected to take his place.
