Ghana Premier League side Karela United FC are set to sign former Hearts of Oak captain Abdul Fatawu Mohammed for the rest of the season.
The 31-year-old right-back was previously linked with a move to an Egyptian club, but that transfer failed to materialize.
Fatawu, who spent nearly a decade with Hearts of Oak, brings a wealth of experience to Karela United, who are currently fighting to avoid relegation.
The club is expected to formally announce the signing before the second transfer window of the Ghana Football Season closes on Friday.
