The father of Adrien Silva is furious with FIFA for blocking his son's move to Leicester City.
Silva faces waiting until January for his Leicester debut after FIFA refused to clear his £22million deadline day switch from Sporting CP.
Dad Manuel says: "It's really stupid.
“I've spoken to Adrien and he feels like someone who wants to play and is prevented from playing for 14 seconds.
"FIFA are a Swiss and cold body. FIFA are more concerned with profits than with the players. In this case, they are not worried about the player's situation.
"If it was for a delay of five minutes, we would even admit that we had been wrong.
"Now, for 14 seconds, when we know how computers work - it's impressive.
“I think it's a completely strange thing."
Leicester could still appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
