Spokesperson of the FIFA/CAF Liaison Team Dan Kweku Yeboah has revealed he is unhappy with some of the criticism levelled against him and believes these are unpardonable.
The astute sports journalist pointed out that he was not beyond to be criticized but it is not proper for some media persons to attack his personality instead of his work.
“When we arrived in Ghana I received lot of reports on how people are attacking me. I’m not beyond criticism but some of our media personalities like Fox FM’s Opoku Afriyie are going overboard and even talking about my attire”, he told Sikka FM.
However, he said he will welcome criticisms but they must be constructive criticisms and not personal.
“We are all journalist and we criticize teams every time. You can talk about the work of the liaison team or the performance of the Black stars, but to go beyond that and talk about my dressing is something else. My dressing is not part of our work” he added.
FIFA and CAF are expected – from today – to announce the composition of the normalization committee that will replace the old GFA executive committee and the Liaison Team.
