Former Aduana Stars coach Yusif Abubakar to take over from Paa Kwesi Fabin at Asante Kotoko

Former Aduana Stars trainer, Yusif Abubakar is linked to take over Asante Kotoko as the head coach of the club.

The experienced trainer parted ways with Aduana Stars after failing to impress in the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.

However, Paa Kwesi Fabin signed a one year deal in February 2018 with the Porcupine Warriors.

But new CEO of the club George Amoako, according to club sources, sees Abubabak as a better tactician and that fact that he is available for free following his departure at Aduana Stars last June.

Abubakar, who won the premier league titles with both Berekum Chelsea in 2011 as an assistant coach and Aduana Stars in 2017 as head coach is the favourite name to replace Fabin.

The former Techiman City manager also counts Hearts of Oak among his former employers.
