Former AshantiGold SC gaffer, Svetislav Tanasijević has opened talks with Hearts of Oak.

The Phobians have been without a substantive coach following the exit of Kim Grant after matchday one of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Assistant coach, Edward Nii Odoom has been in charge of the team before the suspension of the Premier League due to the spread of coronavirus.

Odoom came under pressure for failing to get the needed for the club.

But according to the Serbian trainer, he has already held talks with the capital-based club but the spread of coronavirus has halted his move.

"I have spoken to Hearts management for a possible move as head coach but at the moment due to the outbreak of Covid-19, I am still in my native country Serbia,” he told Silver FM.

"Never will I be an assistant coach in Ghana nor in Serbia, I can be an assistant coach in England, Germany but not in Ghana.

"I've got no problem working with Nii Odoom if he accepts to be my assistant coach but for me, I won't be his assistant,” he added.
