Former Accra Hearts of Oak Coach David Duncan has praised the club’s attacking gem Winful Cobinna for his tremendous displays in the Ghana Premier League, likening him to Real Madrid Star Marco Asensio.
The midfielder has been a sensation in the Ghana Premier League, having dazzled and displayed such quality missing for some time in the domestic league.
Cobinna has also been influential for the home based national team, the Black Stars B where his performances has steered the team into a semifinal show down with Niger in the WAFU tournament.
Coach David Duncan posted on Social Media indicating if Cobinna had the encironment that Asensio grew up in he would have been as better as Real Madrid star Asensio.

Cobinna and Asensio have similar traits, both cultured left footers and the former’s goal against Mali in the second group game of the WAFU championship is quite reminiscent of Asensio’s belter against Barcelona in the Spanish super cup.
The Accra Hearts of Oak star joined the club at the beginning of season following an unsuccessful spell in Saudi Arabia with Najran FC.
Cobina is being chased by Kumasi Asante Kotoko who have indicated their interest in the player with a tweet on their official handle.
The players performance has seen a lot of scouts inquire about his availability.
