Sporting Director for Fortuna Dusseldorf, Lutz Pfannenstiel has urged fans of the club to have patience for Ghanaian internationals Nana Amponsah and Bernard Tekpetey who were recruited in the summer transfer window to strengthen the team.

While Tekpetey was signed on loan from Schalke 04, Nana Amponsah was signed permanently from Waasland-Beveren following a very successful season.

Since their arrival in Germany, the pair have not been able to live up to expectations and continue to search for the best form.

Not only the pair, English international Lewis Baker is also struggling to find his feet at Fortuna Dusseldorf.

In a recent interview on the new signings, Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel has explained that it is normal for some players to take a longer time to settle into a new league.

He has therefore called for patience for the new players.

Nana Amponsah particular continues to work hard in training as he looks forward to hitting top gear very soon.
