Forward Rocky Dwamena on cloud nine after scoring debut goal for Asante Kotoko

Forward Rocky Dwamena could not hide his affections after scoring his debut goal for Asante Kotoko.

The youngster was handed a starting when the Porcupine Warriors played Samartex in matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

Kotoko recorded their third away win this season after inflicting a 2-1 win over Samartex on Saturday afternoon.

The Porcupine Warriors took the lead in the 18th minute through Enock Morrison in the 18th minute. Rocky Dwamena netted Kotoko’s second before half time.

The Timber Giants pulled one back through Acquah in the 69th minute but couldn’t prevent Kotoko from doing the double over them this season.

After the game, Dwamena took to social media to express his joy after netting his debut goal for the club.

“Thank God for the victory! My first goal for my beloved Club. Thank you Lord am grateful. Many more to come. Thanks to all the travelling fans, we keep going and working” he tweeted.

The forward could last for the entire duration after picking an injury. He was subbed off for Shadrach Addo in the 54th minute.
