Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak have recorded a 5-1 win against Kwaebibirem United in a friendly match on Wednesday afternoon.

The Phobians since the start of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season have struggled although they have not suffered any defeat.

In the three matches the team has played, they have picked only three points from a possible nine after drawing all games.

Keen on recording a first win in the next league match, Coach Samuel Boadu and his Hearts of Oak team have engaged lower-tier side Kwaebibirem United FC in a friendly match.

In the game played at the St Thomas Aquinas Park today, goals from midfielder Emmanuel Nettey, striker Kofi Kordzi, Isaac Mensah, and Victor Aidoo steered Hearts of Oak to secure a 2-1 win.

The Phobians will step up training tomorrow ahead of the clash against Ashanti Gold SC this weekend.

That game will be played in Obuasi at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
