Friends of the highly rated Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu have donated some items to the Kumasi Children’s Home on behalf of the player ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup game with Nkana FC on Sunday in Kumasi.

The highly rated midfielder for Asante Kotoko has been very instrumental for the club in their African campaign and he is hoping to help Kotoko clinch the trophy at the end of the whole competition.

The group donated soft drinks, toffees, rice, sugar and biscuits etc to the orphanage to seek for their spiritual support for the player in his entire career.

Richard Senanu is currently injured after picking up an injury against Zesco United in Kumasi three two weeks ago.

He missed his side’s 3-1 defeat against Nkana in Zambia, but has been training with the team since their return to Kumasi.

He is hoping to get clearance to be able to play a part in the return encounter against Nkana FC on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“The aim of the donation is to thank God for protecting and healing Richard Senanu on time and also to seek for blessing and an injury-free career for the player,” Abdul Razak, a member of the group told Footballmadeinghana.com.

The fun club has promised to do everything possible to make the player happy and enjoy his stay with Asante Kotoko SC.

The management of Kumasi Children’s Home accepted the items in a joyous mood and promised to seek for protection, guidance and injury-free career from God for Richard Senanu.
