Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil is reportedly being sought after by English and Italian teams.

Winger Joseph Paintsil may leave Belgian KRC Genk at the end of the current campaign despite being under contract with the club.

In fact, if Ekrem Konur, a transfer market expert, is to be believed, the 25-year-old would be available to teams in England and Italy.

Also, a number of these championship teams had scheduled to watch the winger this Sunday versus Union Saint-Gilloise.

He has played in 27 games in all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals and dishing out 12 assists.

Paintsil's contract with the Belgian club will end in June 2026.

Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has included the in form winger in his twenty-five man squad to face Angola.

Ghana will play Angola in a double header this month in search of a ticket to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Cote D’Ivoire in January next year.

The Black Stars will host Palancras Negras at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Thursday, March 23 before travelling to Luanda on March 27, 2023 for the reverse fixture.
