Former German stars of Ghanaian descent Gerald Asamoah and David Odonkor will feature when the Die Manschaaft legends lock horns with their Italian counterparts on October 8, 2019.
The game which is scheduled for the Ronhof Sports Park in Fürth is being played to strengthen the cordial ties already existing between the two European powerhouses
Both Asamoah and Odonkor have unique history in German football circles as the former was the first Black player to feature in the Die Manschaaft set up whilst the later became the first mixed-race child to also play for their senior national team.
Asamoah made his debut for Germany in 2001 against Slovakia and went on to feature in the 2002 as well as the 2006 World Cups whilst Odonkor was also part of the 2006 squad.
