Ghana Football Association President Kwasi Nyantakyi could become the next vice president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Massive changes have hit the African soccer governing body with its long serving president Issa Hayatou paving way for newly elected president Ahmad Ahmad of Madagascar.

Nyantakyi has served on the CAF Executive committee for close to a decade and that puts him in a very good position to assume the role as 2nd in command at CAF.

The Wa All Stars owner was voted onto the FIFA executive council on Thursday during CAF’s general elections which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
