Published on: 04 October 2019

Footballghana.com can report that the vetting committee has submitted their report to the Normalization Committee (NC) after grilling all aspirants for the various positions in the upcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) elections.

The football community is entering its election season after the successful adoption of the new statutes proposed by the body set up to reform football in the country after the airing of the Number 12 video last year.

In an official statement on the GFA website, the NC which is acting as the elections committee for the upcoming polls has disclosed the list of all aspirants that have been cleared to contest.

The shocking part of the communique is that Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has been disqualified from contesting for the presidential seat at the football governing body.

The likes of Amanda Clinton, George Ankoma Mensah, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, George Afriyie, and Frederick Pappoe have all been given the clear to contest.
