The Ghana League Clubs Association of Ghana (GHALCA) GS tournament has been climaxed today, Monday, August 29, 2022.
The pre-season tournament was expected to end over the weekend. However, to not take the shine away from the clash between Ghana’s Black Galaxies and the Super Eagles B of Nigeria, the semi-final and final of the tournament were pushed to today.
This afternoon, Bechem United and Great Olympics locked horns at the Accra Sports Stadium to battle for the ultimate prize.
Thanks to goals in each half, Great Olympics have defeated Bechem United 2-0 to emerge as champions of the GHALCA G6 tournament.
Berekum Chelsea finished third after beating Medeama SC in the third-place match.
All six teams that played in the GHALCA G6 tournament have had a good tournament and are expected to use the next two weeks to conclude preparations for the start of the 2022/23 football season.
