Black Stars coach Otto Addo is expected to hand starting roles to new players in the team in the international friendly against Uganda on Tuesday.

Otto Addo handed debut call ups to some young players including Ibrahim Osman, Francis Abu, Ebenezer Annan, Frederick Asare and others.

Three players including Ibrahim Osman and Ebenezer Annan made their debut against Nigeria, where Ghana lost 2-1 at the Grande de Stade Marrakech last Friday.

Francis Abu and Fredrick Asare are the other two players waiting to make their first appearance for the national team.

Otto Addo is expected to ring changes to starting lineup that played against Nigeria. Captain Andre Ayew and Jojo Wollacot are expected to make a return to the team.

Speaking about the possibility of handing starting roles to new players in the team, he said, "Yes, sure, they did well, no doubt, especially in the second half when we were one man down and still dominating the game. This is not a normal procedure and I think this is what we need in the national team. Concurrence will make each player better and at the end the whole team will benefit," said Otto Addo.

With Ghana leading the head-to-head record 7-3, Addo's side aims to maintain their dominance over Uganda. Their most recent encounter in October 2017 ended in a goalless draw during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The game will be streamed on the Ghana Football App and the official Ghana Football Association YouTube page.
