Ghana coach Otto Addo is expected to hand fringe players in the Black Stars team opportunity to justify their inclusion in the upcoming friendly game against Uganda.

The Black Stars will lock horns with the Cranes of Uganda at the Grande de Stade Marrakech, Morocco at 4pm today, and Otto Addo will likely try some players who are yet to convince for a place in the team.

Otto Addo and his charges are aiming to beat Uganda to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat against Nigeria four days ago.

The outgoing Talent Development coach of Dortmund will use the Uganda showdown to assess different players in the Black Stars as they gear up for the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic in June.

However, key players like Andre Ayew and Mohammed Salisu, who missed the previous friendly against Nigeria are expected to return to the team for Uganda clash.

Goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot, will likely replace Lawrence Ati-Zigi in the game after missing the Nigeria clash.

Debutant, Francis Abu, who plies his trade for Cercle Brugge in Belgium could be handed his first opportunity to showcase his talent against Uganda as Otto Addo intend to infuse some fresh talents in the team.

Nordjaelland star Ibrahim Osman, could be handed another opportunity after impressive debut for the national team against Nigeria.

With Ghana leading the head-to-head record 7-3, Addo's side aims to maintain their dominance over Uganda. Their most recent encounter in October 2017 ended in a goalless draw during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The game will be streamed on the Ghana Football App and the official Ghana Football Association YouTube page.
