Ghana coach Otto Addo to name Black Stars squad for Madagascar, CAR games before close of this week

The head coach for the Ghana national team, Otto Addo will name his squad for the first phase of the qualifiers to the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament by the close of the week.

Per sources, the squad would have been announced last Friday but had to be suspended for the country’s football association to continue and conclude talks with all technical team members of the national team.

The Ghana FA according to reports, is in the final stage of talks and should reach various deals with all the technical team members this week.

Once that is out of the way, Coach Otto Addo will be in the clear to name his Black Stars squad for the upcoming international assignment.

Early June, Ghana will kick off the campaign for the qualifiers in the 2023 AFCON by playing the first two matches.

First, the national team will host Madagascar before travelling to face off with Central African Republic.
