Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko welcomes Gyan and Badu to Turkey

Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko is excited with the arrivals of national teammates Asamoah Gyan and Agyeman Badu to Turkey, welcoming them on Twitter as they begin another chapter of their careers.

Jerry Akaminko has been in Turkey for almost a decade playing for several club’s including, Orduspor, Manisaspor and Eskişehirspor.

The 29 year old currently plays for Eskişehirspor where he has made 57 appearances scoring only once but has revealed his excitement with the arrivals of national teammates.

He posted on twitter, “Great to have my team mates @ASAMOAH_GYAN3 & @Badu_Agyemang in Turkey. I wish you the best of luck at your new clubs. Welcome to Turkey.”

Asamoah Gyan joined Kayserispor for Chinese side Shanghai SIPG with Agyeman Badu joining Bursaspor.

Badu revealed he came to Turkey because of talks with Jerry Akaminko.

Meanwhile, the arrivals of the duo increases the number of Ghanaians in the country with the likes of Joseph Attamah Larweh and Isaac Sackey also in Turkey.
