He thinks the two biggest clubs can be used as a springboard to promote other lesser sports in the country as compared to other countries.

Speaking at the launch of the Kuffour at 80 Memorial Cup in Accra, he is confident both clubs are capable of promoting sports in the country.

“Reforming Ghana football begins from here,” he said

“We have two most glamorous clubs in this country; Kotoko and Hearts and they can become a springboard for promoting other sporting disciplines in the country just like other clubs do.”

“Kotoko and Hearts are hugely placed; uniquely placed to promote other sports. Reforming Ghana football, for me, begins with these clubs.”
