Ghana forward Ernest Nuamah scores but Lyon throw away two-goal lead to draw against Lorient

Ghana international Ernest Nuamah scored his debut goal for Olympique Lyon when they shared the spoils with Lorient in the French Ligue 1.

The Black Stars winger started and lasted 71 minute in his outfit 3-3 stalemate against Lorient in the week eight of the top-flight.

Lorient broke the deadlock through Elie Kroupi after just 16 minutes before the Ghana international smashed in a half volley on 21 minutes to draw Lyon level.

French international Alexandre Lacazette scored a brace in the 22nd and 44th minute respectively to put Lyon in a comfortable lead.

But Lyon threw away a two-goal lead to share points with Lorient. The visitors exhibited an outstanding performance in the second half to secure a crucial away point on Sunday afternoon.

Elie Kroupi pulled one back for the visitors in the 54th minute before Darline Yongwa hit the back of the net to draw Lorient level in the game.

Lyon are winless after eight games into the Ligue 1 campaign, losing five and drawing three in the process.
