Ghana international Joel Fameyeh was in fine form when Rubin Kazan shared the spoils with Orenburg in the Russian top-flight on Sunday morning.

The Black Stars attacker started the game and produced a masterclass performance to help his side secure a point on home turf.

Fameyeh registered his name on the scoresheet in his outfit 1-1 stalemate against Orenburg in the Week 2 fixture of the Russian League.

The Ghanaian striker opened the floodgate for the host after connecting from Alexandr Zotov pass in the 35th minute mark as Rubin Kazan went to recess with a one goal lead.

Improved performance saw Orenburg restore parity through Argentine international Matias Perez, nine minutes to full time as they return home with a point.

The former Dynamo Brest forward was replaced by Soltmurad Bakaev on stoppage time.

Fameyeh has scored two goals from two games in the Russian top-tier league and will hope to maintain his fine form.
