Ghana forward Richard Arthur on the radar of South African side Ajax Cape Town

Former Wa All Stars striker Richard Arthur has emerged as a target for Premier Soccer League side Ajax Cape Town, following his form in Angola.

The Ghana striker has been in prolific form since joining Angolan Club, Interclube on a two year deal where he has scored 8 goals from 12 games in the second half of the season.

The 22 year old has been a target of several clubs’and confirmed last week Portuguese giants Porto and Benfica were interested in his services.

"As I'm speaking to you, Porto and Benfica want to sign me, I might go to Portugal in January for my medicals and join one of them," he said on the FILE on GTV Sports Plus.

Meanwhile latest reports indicates, South African giants Ajax Cape Town are looking forward to signing the Ghanaian from Angolan club Interclube.

“I can confirm to you that Richard Arthur is most likely to sign with Cape Town City,” a source tells KickOff.com.

“It is not only him City are interested in. They are also interested in Elias Maguri who is Tanzanian striker and has scored six goals in 18 appearances for his national team.” the source added.
