Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has paid tribute to his childhood friend Raphael Dwamena, who collapsed and died during a football match in Albania on Saturday, November 11.
Ati-Zigi and Dwamena began their football career at RedBull Academy Ghana (now WAFA). Both were transfered to Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.
Dwamena, who was playing for Egnatia on Saturday collapsed and died when he was rushed to the hospital.
Ati-Zigi was in action for FC St. Gallen against in their 4-2 win over FC Winterthur in the Swiss Super League.
"THIS WAS FOR YOU BROTHER 💔RIP BROTHER 💔💔🪦🕊️🕊️😭😭😭," he wrote on Instagram.

St. Gallen came from a goal down to claim the win as the Ghana number one goalkeeper signs off for the international break.
Remo Arnold opened the scoring for the visitors just 13 minutes in before Chadrac Akolo scored a double in the 20th and 2nd minutes to give the homse side the lead.
Julian Moos then added a third for St. Gallen in the 29th minute to end the half 3-1 against Winterthur.
Akolo bagged his hat-trick in the 46th minute before Sayfallah Ltaief scored to make it 4-2.
