Ghana legend Sulley Muntari meets Italy ambassador to Ghana

Ghanaian football legend Sulley Muntari recently met with the ambassador of Italy to Ghana and Togo, Daniela d'Orlandi, to discuss a collaboration in sports initiatives.

Although the specific date of the meeting is unknown, d'Orlandi posted a photo of the two on Twitter on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023.

During the meeting, d'Orlandi praised Muntari's achievements and expressed her pleasure at hearing that he still considers Italy his second home.

Muntari spent the majority of his professional career in Serie A, playing for teams such as Udinese, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Pescara Calcio. During his time in Italy, he won several championships and cups, including the Serie A, Champions League, and Italian Cups.

Muntari is widely regarded as one of the best Ghanaian footballers of all time, having played for Ghana's national team for over a decade. He was part of the Black Stars team that made history by reaching the quarterfinals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
