Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah has joined Saudi Pro League side, Al-Riyadh SC, following his departure from Al-Tai.

Al Riyadh FC announced the signing of the former Black Stars central midfielder on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, via their social media platforms.

The specific duration of the contract signed has not been revealed as the 29-year-old continues his tenure in the Saudi Pro League after his former team was relegated last season.

He would be looking to build on the solid reputation he has also garnered in Saudi Arabia with Al-Tai last season.

Mensah joined Al Tai on a free transfer on July 15, 2023, and quickly made an impact by scoring his first goal from the penalty spot in the 12th minute of a game against Al-Hazm on September 16, 2023.

During his time at Al Tai, Mensah made 30 appearances, scored an impressive 14 goals, and provided two assists in the 2023/24 Saudi Pro League season. His contributions placed him 11th on the league's top scorer list.
