Ghana international, Jeffery Schlupp was in action for Crystal Palace on Sunday during the friendly match against SSC Napoli.

The versatile player who was overlooked by Ghana head coach Otto Addo in the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup started for the Eagles in the friendly match against the Italian Serie A giants in a game that produced four goals.

Unfortunately, Crystal Palace ended up on the losing side despite scoring first in the first half.

The English Premier League team scored through danger man Wilfried Zaha in the 33rd minute.

Just two minutes later, Nigerian star Victor Osimhen equalised to force the first half to end in a 1-1 draw.

In a game where Jeffrey Schlupp would be substituted at halftime, SSC Napoli scored twice in the second half through Giacomo Rapsadori to win 3-1 at full-time.

The Ghana international made a good account of himself as he pushes to cement a place in the starting eleven of Crystal Palace ahead of the resumption of the English Premier League.
