Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey has welcomed the arrival of Thomas Lemar to Atletico Madrid.
The 22-year-old France international had signed a contract with Atletico during the 2018 World Cup but the clubs had not formalised the move.
The winger was presented by Atletico on Monday and joins fellow Frenchmen Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez at the club.
Partey is happy with the competition the former AS Monaco star will create.
"Competition within a team is normal, as it always is. What you must do is concentrate and continue playing as a team to fight for titles," he said.
"It is also very important that there are players coming from the youth system, it isn't easy to do that.
"They serve as the perfect example for other young people who want to become like them."
