Henry Asante Twum spokesman for Ghana Football Association has stated that clubs in the Ghana Premier League will soon receive their boots.
A total number of Five Hundred and forty (540) pair of boots is expected to be supplied to the Premier League clubs for onward distribution to the players, according to the Ghana Football Association.
Speaking about boots for players in the Ghana Premier League and the Division One League Mr. Twum said the boots initiative will help club chairmen save some money. He added that clubs spend close to 10,000 Ghc every season to buy boots.
"As at Monday morning 39 of the 48 division clubs had received the football boots from the GFA. The Premier League clubs will start receiving theirs soon," he told Kessben Sports.
"If a club is buying boots at 10,000 ghc every season this time club chairmen can save money and add up to the salaries of the players,"
